Friday, Nov. 3: Milton to McCabe Preserve
Broadkill River – Milton to the McCabe Preserve: Friday, November 3, 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
We’ll meet at Memorial Park in Milton for an out-and-back paddle on the Broadkill River, once famous for the shipbuilding industry that thrived here. Your naturalist guide will lead you along the forested section of the Broadkill to the Edward H. McCabe Preserve, which is managed by The Nature Conservancy. We’ll search for Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles and Wood Ducks. The paddle will begin and end at Memorial Park.
After the paddle, join your fellow paddlers for off-centered ales at the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.
TIME: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
