Ayers Creek and Maryland’s Coastal Bays: Saturday, Oct. 21, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

We’ll meet at 8628 Grey Fox Lane (east of Berlin, MD) for a one-way paddle down the wild and winding marshes of Ayers Creek and Newport Bay. This will spill out into the unspoiled Chincoteague Bay before heading around South Point to the South Point boat ramp nestled along the quiet waters of Sinepuxent Bay. Our naturalist guide will navigate paddlers through the majestic wilderness. The sheer number of shorebirds, herons, and egrets is astounding. The route passes by the 2,000-acre Newport Farms with its rich and storied history. We will portage paddlers and boats back to Grey Fox Lane.
